Samsung is starting a new program called as “High Five Referral Program” for its mobile payment service, Samsung pay. As the name suggests, you will earn $5 for every friend whom you referred and has signed up. You will receive the amount into your Samsung pay account once your referred friend makes his or her first purchase.
You are allowed to refer to 30 friends at most and if all of them sign up and make a purchase, you will have a potential earning of $150 in your Samsung pay account.
There is a catch, though. For you to buy stuff using the awarded money, the store you want to buy from has to accept visa services and should be Samsung pay enabled. The earned money is stored under rewards card. Simply swipe up from the lock screen to select the rewards card and place it on the swiping terminal to complete the transaction.
There’s more. If you buy the new Note 7, you will receive a $20 reward for the first transaction that you make and there a $5 reward further if you sign up for Red Robin and Olive Garden.
Samsung pay has been growing tremendously since it was launched alongside the Galaxy S6.
If you do not know about it, then Samsung pay is a mobile payment service that is very similar to Apple pay and Android pay but the added benefit is that it can work virtually anywhere thanks to a new technology called as magnetic secure transmission giving it the ability to make a transaction on a decade old swiping machine.
By comparison, Apple pay need a special NFC terminal to make a payment.
