Samsung and the number 7 just don’t go together…
According to Reuters, Samsung is planning to officially reveal their findings in the Note7 investigation. However, we will have to wait a little longer to read the reasons why the Note 7 was prone to explosion.
An executive from Samsung SDI, Kim Hong-gyeong said that the company produced roughly 60 percent of the batteries in the Galaxy Note 7. He stated that a “weakness” has been found in some Note 7 batteries and the full reasoning for the explosions will be revealed later this year. Another SDI executive also stated that after the incident, the company double checked and verified that the batteries supplied for other products were free of defects.
Some reports say that Samsung Electronics started looking at other companies like LG to supply batteries for the Galaxy S8.
