There have been already a lot of speculations and talk about the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Active with renders of the device being leaked as well.
However the word is that the Galaxy S6 Active will be featuring a QHD display which will help the handset remain on par with the very best smartphones out there.
This year the Samsung Galaxy S6 launched without any kind of protection from dust and water and this has given the Galaxy S6 Active a good platform to debut as it will be waterproof.
Up till now there has been no official announcement by Samsung about the Galaxy S6 Active but apart from the QHD display the device will also feature a 1440 x 2560 resolution display.
Apart from this the other specifications include a 5.1 Super AMOLED display along with an Exynos 7420 SoC with an octa-core 2.1 GHz CPU mated to a Mali-T760 MP8 GPU.
The device will also have a 3GB RAM with a beefier 3500 mAh removable battery under its hood. Plus Samsung has also added a 16MP shooter at the back and a 5MP front camera. Now let’s see when Samsung will be launching this Galaxy S6 Active for the consumers.
