It seems that Samsung will soon be announcing the release of the Galaxy S6 Active as it has now mentioned the new device on its official website.
However the new smartphone doesn’t have a webpage of its own yet it has been put in the list of devices that will be participating in Samsung’s Plus program.
This program basically provides additional benefits to valued customers offering peace of mind with each Samsung device they purchase.
The S6 Active is known as a distinct device between the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy s6 Edge and is going to be waterproof.
Moreover just recently we also came across several images that allegedly presented the S6 Active showing it to look like last year’s Galaxy S5 Active.
Plus if the rumors about the Galaxy S6 Active are true than this device will be having a large 3600 mAh battery under its hood.
The handset will also be rugged and water resistant while it will also offer some of the features that users can find on the regular S6 which will include a Quad HD display, a heart rate sensor and an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. It also seems that the AT&T will be the first carrier to sell the Galaxy S6 Active.
