Two unannounced Samsung phones with model numbers SM-G5308W and SM-G8505S has appeared on GFXBench. One of those is a low-end phone and another is a mid-range device.
SM-G5308W will be using Qualcomm’s first 64 bit processor, the Snapdragon 410 while SM-G8505S carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. From specification listed on GFXBench it seems like SM-G8505S is going to compete directly with SONY Xperia Z1 Compact.
Samsung SM-G8508S will sport a 4.7” 720p touchscreen display, either a 12MP or 13MP camera at the back, a 2MP shooter in front, and will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. It is tipped that the quad-core processor will be clocked at 2.45GHz, which is possible with the Snapdragon 801 chipset.
At the same time SM-G8505S will be accompanied by 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, NFC capability, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice.
There are speculations that suggest the smartphones will be unveiled in September at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin.
