At this point of time when all smartphone manufactures are trying to bring better camera to mobile phones, Samsung took a big bold step. According to latest report Samsung has combined it’s Wireless Communication Unit and Digital Imaging units. This move is to bring better camera to smartphones as more and more users are expecting a better camera on smartphones.
”We will transplant the brand, sales networks, software competency and manufacturing competitiveness of the Wireless Business Division into the Camera Business Division, and integrate the technical know-how of the two business divisions into competency for differentiating our smartphones,” a Samsung spokesperson told.
Other companies like Nokia and Sony Mobile are also competing with Samsung to bring best imaging modules to smartphones.
