Everyone had heard in February that Samsung has been planning to introduce a Galaxy Tab A version with S-Pen compatibility.
Well now it seems that the rumors were correct as Samsung has recently launched its Galaxy Tab A tablet, very quietly though, in France.
This new device by Samsung is the first non-premium device that features the S Pen compatibility. Previously the South Korean company used to launch S Pen smartphones and tablets under the Note branding.
However it looks that Samsung could be planning to make the S Pen a differentiable feature even for its mid-range and entry level devices as well.
The new tablet by Samsung features a 9.7 inch LCD panel with a resolution of 768 by 1024 pixels at a 4:3 aspect ratio and Ziilabs ZMS-08 chipset.
The chipset basically integrates a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The device will also feature a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded.
The rear camera on the device is a 5MP and on the front there will be a 2MP camera. The device will have a 6000 mAh battery under its hood.
The new tablet also runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop. In France the current price of the tablet is $370.
