Many rumors connected to the Samsung’s Galaxy S8 already revealed that the fingerprint sensor is moved to the back. Alongside that, the iris scanner is also revealed. According to a new report now, the Galaxy S8 will also feature facial recognition.
The reports from Samsung say that due to their limits of the iris scanner, like speed and accuracy, they had to decide to add facial recognition to their upcoming device. The speed of the face scanner will take less than 0.01 seconds to unlock the device.
Samsung already started with testing the Galaxy S8 prototypes. The device is also set to be unveiled officially on March 29th, and somewhere month upon that it is expected to be listed on sale, alongside with the Galaxy S8 Plus version.
