And yet again, according to the most famous leaker @evleaks, the Galaxy Note 8 will have 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display. The display is just slightly bigger than the Galaxy S8 Plus’s, which had a 6.2-inch display. Also, the resolution of the device will be the same as the Galaxy S8 Plus’s, having a 1440 x 2960 resolution with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The design of the Note 8 will be however different, wearing more sharper edges, just like the Note franchise is mostly known.
From other specs, the Note 8 will also have the same SoC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 for the US carriers, and the Exynos 8895 SoC for the worldwide carriers. Alongside the SoC, the device will have 6GB of RAM, accompanied with 64GB of internal storage. There will even be a slot for a microSD card, if you want to add more storage.
As the biggest feature and change for the Note 8, will be the dual-camera setup which will be on the back side of the device. According to the leaker, both of the cameras will have 12MP sensors, but only one will be primary with a wide-angle lens. Also, it will have an f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, as an additional features. The secondary camera (or sensor) will have a telephoto lens, which will most likely have an f/2.4 aperture, alongside with a 2x optical zoom. The front-facing selfie shooter camera will probably have 8-megapixel, with an f/1.7 autofocus lens.
And last, but not less, the battery power of the device is expected to be 3300 mAh. Everyone will be focusing their eyes on the camera, because we hope that Samsung will not make the same mistake as they did last year with the Note 7. Also, the final words of the report are for the variations of the device. It might be available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colors, with additional versions in Orchid Gray and Deep Sea Blue. The price of the device might cost $1000 in Europe, while there is still no word about the price in the US.
