Couple of weeks ago, Samsung officially announced the new Galaxy A (2017) series. On the reveal, it was confirmed that the handsets would hit store shelves by early February. Asian markets could expect to get them as soon as late January. However, multiple online retailers in Russia already started to sell the new Galaxy A3(2017), Galaxy A5(2017) and Galaxy A7(2017). Prices for these new devices range from $390, $470 and $555.
The fact that they are already on sale in Russia marks it as the first country where Samsung launched the latest mid-range smartphones. So far these are seen also in United Kingdom but are only available for pre-orders.
The newly refreshed Galaxy A series brings some flagship specs to the mid-range phone market. All devices come with IP68 water and dust resistance, 16-megapixel selfie cameras, USB Type-C and much more.
