If you are a user or ex-user of an Android smartphone, then you might be familiar with the phenomenon of rooting. Rooting is the phenomenon in which users gain access to the root of the Android OS, to allow extra privileges to user. After rooting the device, users can install a custom version of Android OS that is developed by some unofficial developers. However, rooting one’s device voids the warranty of the device.
If you are using a rooted phone, and planning to buy the new Galaxy S6, or the Galaxy S6 edge, you might need a method for rooting your new device. Anyway, thanks to Chainfire, who have been developing an auto-root app for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, you will be able to root your device as soon as you get it. Chainfire claims that they have been able to root the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, via the Chainfire Auto-Root App.
However, rooting your Galaxy S6 will disable KNOX Mobile payments system, but you will still be able to use Google Wallet for payments. The phones haven’t even made available yet, but you need not worry about rooting your soon-to-be Galaxy S6, thanks to the Auto-root app developed by Chainfire.
