Samsung is now actively working on bringing a tone down version of Galaxy Note 3 phablet called Note 3 Lite.
Galaxy Note 3 is a flagship device and quite expensive for most. On the other hand the new variant of this popular phablet will be much cheaper than Note 3.
To reduce cost Samsung will replace the AMOLED screen of Note III with LCD screen on Galaxy Note 3 Lite. Along with bringing a cheaper screen, the rear camera which is 13 megapixel on Note 3 will be replaced with 8 megapixel camera. The screen size will not be changed, which is a good move.
Latest reports are that Samsung will launch this new variant of Note 3 at the Mobile World Congress 2014, which will be held in February.
