About a month ago the news was in the air that Samsung is going to expand its Galaxy J series with two new handsets. Right now the J series only has the Galaxy J1 in its lineup but the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 will be added soon. Now last month these two new J devices got the Bluetooth certification and this is always an indication that the launch is not that far off.
Tenaa which is the China Industry and Information Technology unit and is responsible for certifying electronic devices for use in the People’s Republic of China has published the specifications and images of the Galaxy J5 and J7. This basically means that the South Korean company is getting ready to launch these two handsets as it’s putting them through the required regulatory process in a very important market.
As we had known before the Galaxy J5 has a 5 inch display along with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and 1.5GB of RAM. The J5 also has 8GB of internal storage along with the option to expand as it also has a microSD card slot and comes with a 2600mAh battery. Moreover the smartphone will have a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
On the other hand the Galaxy J7 will be powered by a 1.4GHz Marvel PXA1936 processor which comes with a 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Apart from this the J7 will have a 5.5 inch display and a 3300mAh battery under its hood. Just like the J5 the J7 will also have the same set of megapixels for its rear and front cameras. Moreover both these J handsets will come with Android 5.0.2 installed in them.
