According to some rumors, experts believe that it is too soon for Samsung to say goodbye to flat screens. The South Korean company is expected to release two versions of Galaxy, one with a 5.7-inch display and another with a 6.2-inch display. It is also expected for their displays to be curved on both sides.
The new Galaxy S8’s body is expected to have screen-to-body ratio of over 90 percent. Saying a word about the design, there is a lot of doubt in that will the users would be happy to say goodbye to the flat screen displays. Samsung are still including these screens in their designs just to be different from other smartphone companies. The only threat for now is that other Chinese firms are catching this trend very fast.
An analyst from the Korean Institute reported that there is a huge demand for dual-edge screens, but they still might be inconvenient. There is a lot of room for making a mistake, and right now nobody is prepared for such a thing, especially not Samsung.
The South Korean company is for now developing two foldable smartphones. The first smartphone will feature a display that can be folded inwards, and the other one will feature a display that can be folded outwards. With the combining of the two phones, they can be used as one tabled, which can be very useful.
