Samsung is packing some serious battery life into the upcoming galaxy s7 which will be shown on 21st of this month at mobile world congress that will take place in Barcelona, Spain. According to the reports, the galaxy s7 will last up to 2 days on a single charge before demanding a recharge.
The galaxy s6 features somewhat average battery life. Samsung eliminated the removable battery feature and opted for a metal unibody design that made the removal of the battery impossible. It made it up for that in form of fast charging technology that recharged the phone quickly. Now a Russian blogger named elder murtazin has apparently leaked the battery life of the preview unit that he has in his possession.
Apparently, the s7 ran for 17 continuous hours playing back to back videos before dying down. That too with maximum brightness. On the other front, it ran for 4 ½ hours with 75% brightness while running heavy applications. On the whole, it is believed to run for two days with moderate usage.
The capacity of the battery has been bumped to 3000Mah from 2550Mah in the galaxy s6. With the power saving features and fast wireless charging technologies, the galaxy s7 is turning into a super phone that lasts longer all the while charging quicker.
The phone will come with marshmallow android and will have a 5.1 inch Qhd screen with snapdragon 820 coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

“Tweeted out by Murtazin, he has been using a Galaxy S7 on 75% brightness, with no Wi-Fi and 3GB used via dual LTE SIMs. As shown on the screenshots, he got two days and four hours of usage (3% remaining), with the low battery drain portions indicating Marshmallow’s Doze feature in full effect during the night.” Indicated droid life.
