The galaxy j7 (2016) has seen its fair share of leaks and it’s interesting how the device is turning out to be.

Initial rumours have indicated that the handset would come with a 4300 Mah battery but the FCC leaks have shown us that the battery capacity is rated at 3300mah but this is by no means a small battery. the battery is actually an improved one when compared to the last year’s galaxy j7 (2015) that had a capacity of 3000mah. Given the specification, the battery should last for more than a day with normal usage.

The phone will have a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution. Powering it is the snapdragon 615 octa-core processor along with the Adreno 405 GPU. The phone comes with 3 GB of ram. that’s ample for a mid-range phone. Memory capacity is at 16 GB out of which 10 GB will be user accessible.

A 12 MP back camera with a 5 MP selfie camera is fitted into the phone.

Naturally Samsung would prefer the cheap plastic design for the J-Series phones and the metal and glass design has been preserved for the S, Note and A-Series of its smartphones. It would have been really interesting if Samsung included a fingerprint reader in the 2016 version of Galaxy J7.

Some models of the galaxy j7 (2016) will come with an Exynos 7870 processor.

Samsung explained that the Exynos 7870 is 30% less power hungry with respective to SoC manufactured based on 8nm High-K Metal Gate process technology. This SoC also has LTE Cat.6 2CA Modem with 300Mbps downlink speeds and can operate better than full HD displays at 60 frames per second.

The next generation of location-based services are integrated into the Exynos 7870. It can handle up to 16 MP of camera pixel count for both the front and the rear combined.

More details will be shared when the galaxy j7 releases in the month of march.
