Samsung, without a doubt, is the leader of the smartwatch industry with its Galaxy Gear series of smartwatches. All these watches were great but lacked a little bit of luster as being innovative.
The earlier smartwatches were great but the lacked a bit in sense of beauty because many people prefer their watches to be round instead of a rectangle. Moto 360 is a great example of such smartwatch. Back in 2013, Samsung filed a patent regarding a smartwatch that had a round dial. At the time, there was not enough known about what the device will actually be - no one ever wondered?
In the past week, new rumors came up about the details of this smartwatch that Samsung is planning to unveil later this year along with its Galaxy S6 smartphone. The new smart watch which is named Orbis will have a round dial and run the companies new Tizen OS. The dial will be rotatable and allow user to perform different functions.

The other key feature that all Samsung smartwatches lacked was wireless charging. Orbis will come with wireless charging and allow the user to charge with ease. For more details, you will need to wait till the beginning of March because it’s when Samsung plans to unveil this new product.
