Samsung is a multinational company with presence in almost all the major industries around the world. But we have seen that some startups with barely any recognitions like the oneplus and nest have beaten the tech corporates. Samsung seemed to have noticed this trend. The idea of a successful start-up without any baggage that major companies carry have more chances of achieving the results with the right team and required resources.

For this exact purpose, Samsung has announced that it will be introducing 5 new startups in its incubator cell under the c-labs section.

About 18 of the long term Samsung employees from the creative labs are leaving their comfortable job at Samsung electronics to establish these 5 companies that will be added to the existing 9 startups in its incubator cell. Each of these companies will focus their efforts on products that have the potential to change the respective industry.

Samsung did show us a few among them. The most innovative among these is a smart belt called as Welt Smart Belt. This belt has huge potential and could end up revolutionizing the fitness industry. It can measure the waistline, counts your steps, and tracks when you’re sitting down and eating.
