Rumor is that Samsung is going to launch an all new video streaming service, called Samsung Volt. This will give direct competition to other big players in the video streaming business, including Netflix.

Samsung has business in different areas, including mobile phones, home appliances, TV, chipset, cars, etc. This new service will be a new addition to Samsung’s vast business empire.

This is not the first time Samsung tried music streaming service. Some time back Samsung launched a similar solution called, Media Hub Service. Samsung scrapped the service.

Rumors are that, Samsung Volt will provide original content just like Netflix. But we are not sure of that.

Samsung has yet to confirm this report. We will keep updating you when we will receive some new input.
