Following a report from the Insider, the Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display panel. Previous reports also leaked that the device might also support dual rear camera system. Still, the one big question to be answered remains and we will wait to see, if the Note 8 be more successful than the Note 7 last year. Also, will it successfully escape the shadow of the Note family.
Samsung has also made some changes to the screen design of their devices, which started with the Galaxy S8. The device has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Regardless, the Note 8 should have bigger screen, so we will see how Samsung will handle that one. According to the rumor, the Note 8 should have slightly bigger screen than the Galaxy S8 Plus, that has 6.2-inch display screen.
It is also believed that the Note 8 could feature a Super AMOLED QHD+ panel protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. The S-Pen stylus could be also included in the devices features. It is also expected that the Note 8 will be powered by the Exynos 8895, which is Samsung’s first 10nm system-on-chip processor. The same processor is powering up the Galaxy S8 series. The handset will also variate between 4GB and 6GB of RAM, alongside with 64GB of internal storage.
This handset is expected to ship alongside with the Android 7.0 Nougat. Its release should be happening somewhere around the second half of this year, probably in the fall. Nothing is yet confirmed from Samsung, but we might expect some big news pretty soon.
