Samsung is going to announce the successor of Galaxy Grand Prime (2014). The new version which will carry the same name. The budget smartphone is already leaked on benchmarking websites. Also, earlier we posted the rumored specification details of the phone.
Today Samsung posted the official user manual of this un-announced phone on its Russian homepage.
According to a new leak, the Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) will have the same Grace UX as the Galaxy Note 7. But, the phone will come with Android Marshmallow, not Android Nought. This is disappointing as all new phone should be released on the latest and greatest Android OS version.
The Galaxy Grand Prime won’t have a finger-print scanner, so it will not have Samsung Pay support. And it will not have the theme store as well.
According to the user manual, the phone will get features such as Wide Selfie, Ultra Power Saving Mode, Smart Manager, Game Tools, and Multi Window. These features were part of Samsung’s high-end smartphones till now. So this is a interesting move from Samsung.
The recently launched Galaxy A8 (2016) also has many advanced feature, even though budget-wise it is a mid-range device.
The Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) will have a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, an 8 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie shooter, MediaTek’s MT6737T SoC with a 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage.
