The voice calling feature of WhatsApp is available for Android users already but it now seems that the Tizen users will also get the same feature on their WhatsApp.
So those who have bought the Samsung Z1 have something to be happy about at least. So from now on the Samsung Z1 users will be able to call Android devices or other Z1 users for that matter.
After this new update the voice calling feature has been provided on two platforms, Android and Tizen but iOS users are still deprived of this voice calling feature.
However there is good news for the iOS users as WhatsApp will be rolling an update for them as well in the coming weeks.
The reason that the Tizen version of the WhatsApp got this update before iOS is because the Tizen version of the WhatsApp is somewhat similar to the version of Android.
This basically means that it is possible for the Tizen users to receive the same updates and features as its Android counterpart.
