Samsung announced this September that you will be able to make payments using Samsung pay without actually removing your phone from the pocket. The payment can be authorized using your smartwatch and that smartwatch had to be the gear s2.
On the microblogging site twitter, a user posted a question regarding the launch of Samsung pay on gear s2 in November as promised earlier. Samsung’s u.s mobile division has replied that the feature is still under the hammer and will have to wait until 2016 for it to arrive before you can use your gear s2 to make a payment.
@_TheTRn We're sorry for the wait, Michael. #SamsungPay is now coming to the #GearS2 in 2016. Stay tuned for more information. Thanks!

apple has a method where you can pay for the purchases using the apple watch. Samsung too said that it was introducing this feature but it didn’t materialize yet. Samsung pay works on ordinary credit card terminal by using the magnetic secure transmission. This allows your phone to mimic your credit card. The gear s2 doesn’t having this feature. Instead it relies on the NFC similar to the apple watch to pay the bill by connecting to your phone.
Samsung pay has been huge hit for the Korean giant that entered the mobile payment war a little late. It was able to beat the dominant player, apple pay and android pay comfortably to take the mobile payment service crown.
