It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S6 leaks will not stop until it goes official. We have just showed you a sneak peak of S6 design and now we have full camera details of the most anticipated Samsung smartphone. One of SamMobile‘s insiders managed to get camera details of a Galaxy S6 prototype. And these details are pretty interesting.

Samsung Galaxy S6 prototype model has a 20-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. And sensors of both rear and front cameras are made by Samsung. The 20MP rear shooter is said to have optical image stabilization and it can capture images in resolutions of 20MP (5952×3348), 15MP (4464×3348), 11MP (3344×3344), 8MP (3264×2448), 6MP (3264×1836) and 2.4MP (2048×1152). However, the 5MP front shooter is the same that we saw on the Galaxy A series.

But it is still not confirmed whether Samsung will actually launch S6 with the 20MP shooter. We have to wait for the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 for the confirmation.

Meanwhile, S6 camera software details also emerged alongside hardware details. Samsung is said to offer a Pro camera mode by using the new camera APIs which were released by Google with Android 5.0 Lollipop. What will be this “Pro mode”? Actually S6 camera Pro mode will give users an option to choose between three different focus modes including a manual focus mode.

Some other advanced camera options for Galaxy S6 include the ability to shoot RAW images and control the speed of the shutter. By using these advanced options, professionals and other advanced camera users could easily capture images in a way they would love to.

Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S6 is also said to have an updated Gallery app that would be really easy to use. Actually, the S6 users can easily share or edit or remove any image as they would see the image settings icon along with the photo thumbnail. No need to manually search any image for editing or for modification.
