Samsung may be launching a new smartphone in the Galaxy lineup called Galaxy Aplha next month. Reports also suggest that this new phone will have a metal body.
Korean newspaper ETNews today quoted that Samsung will going to bring in a new premium device with metal body. The first device in this line-up will be called Galaxy Aplha. ETNews also reported that the Galaxy Alpha specs are currently unknown. Or is this a Galaxy S5 LTE-A with metal body?
Samsung generally launch new flagships in the beginning of the year (Galaxy S series) and end of the year (Galaxy Note series). If Samsung will release a new flagship in the middle of the year, then this will be a new trend.
This news about a new flagship along with metal body needs to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. But hope Samsung will listen to this and bring a flagship with metallic body in future.
