Leaked information from Chinese certification TENAA’s website suggest that Samsung is all set to release a 7-inch android tablet pretty soon. The new phablet with model number SM-T2558 features a narrower and taller HD display.

Samsung in the past released big smartphones. Starting from the original Galaxy Note till the incredibly big Galaxy Mega with 6.8 inch screen, Samsung tried all screen size. But the new device will break all previous records when it comes to screen size. The 7 inch phablet measures 191.24×99.7×8.95 mm and weighs in at 245 grams.

For marketing purpose Samsung may launch this device as Galaxy Mega 7.

Apart from a larger screen size, SM-T2558 will have some mid-range specification. This includes Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM for multi-tasking.

There is no information about the camera, but we suspect that it will have 8 mega pixel rear and 2 mega pixel front camera.

Also storage information are not leaked but 8 GB internal storage is expected from this mid-range device.
