We are now almost certain that Samsung will release a newer Galaxy S6 Edge with bigger display. A new trademark filing with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) of Galaxy S6 Edge plus suggests that Samsung is working on a new device.
We already posted several stories about a new Galaxy S6 Edge with bigger display. Leaks also suggest that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will look almost similar to Galaxy S6 Edge. It will even have the same hardware specification, but only the display is changed.
Though trademark filing does not mean Samsung will make a product with the same name, as these kinds of filings happen on an regular basis and may not be indicative of anything more than a desire for brand protection. It is good to mention that Samsung also filed for Galaxy S6 Note trademark some weeks back.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + will come with a 5.4 inch of 5.7 inch display and 3,000 mAh battery. Rumors also suggest that Galaxy S6 Edge + will carry the model name SM-G928.
