A new report says that it’s best not to buy the Samsung Galaxy S5. There is a huge security risk when you are using the Galaxy S5.
Some researchers from the security firm FireEye did some working on the Samsung Galaxy S5. They found out at the finger print scanner is vulnerable and hackers can easily gain access to it to take your fingerprint.
Those researchers discovered that it is possible to create malware and this malware only needs to gain system-level access to the S5.
There it can collect data. Data coming from the finger print scanner which will lead to images of your fingerprints. So if the attacker can break the kernel then he can easily see the fingerprint images.
He doesn’t need to get into the trusted zone. The attacker can get the data and from that data he can generate your fingerprint image.
