Samsung is going to release Galaxy Note Edge at the end of the year in India. Yesterday Samsung launched two products Galaxy Note 4 and Gear S smartwatch, but there was no update on Galaxy Note Edge.

With the latest announcement from Samsung it is clear that Samsung is going to focus more in its key markets, which include India. Till now Galaxy Note Edge was only launched in Samsung’s home country South Korea.

Samsung announced Galaxy Note Edge at IFA 2014 in Berlin along side Galaxy Note 4, Gear S smartwatch and Gear VR.

Though it is clear now that Galaxy Note Edge will be available soon, Samsung yet to announce more updates on Gear VR.

Galaxy Note Edge is the second flexible screen smartphone released by the company after the first Galaxy Round smartphone.

The Note Edge features a 5.6-inch QHD Super AMOLED curved edge display, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 16-megapixels primary camera with OIS, 3.7MP front-facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.

Though the phone is a good conceptual device, it is hard to predict how many of these devices Samsung will sell worldwide.
