Samsung today announced Galaxy S4 Mini in South Korea through KT. The smartphone is a smaller mid-ranged version of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini features Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB RAM and sports a 4.3-inch qHD resolution display, 8MP camera, 1900mAh battery.

Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 with TouchWiz is preloaded on Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. It has software features like Sound & Shot, Story Album, S Translator, WatchON, S Health.

Galaxy S4 mini will cost 550,000 won and KT will provide customers a discount on Galaxy S4 mini’s S View Cover or Battery Pack.

According to Korean IT Times report Samsung is all set to release Galaxy S4 mini in South Korea starting from this week. Samsung will sell this mid-range smartphone on South Korean operator KT or through retail stores that will allow user to use it on his choice of carrier.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini features a Dual-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with 256 ppi pixel density, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.9 megapixel fron facing camera, 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage with a provision of microSD card and comes with a 1900 mAh battery. On connectivity front the phone supports 3G, HSDPA and LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, NFC and Infrared port.
