Report is that Samsung Co-CEO JK Shin personally ordered Tizen smartphones to be delayed in order to create the best smartphone out of the new mobile OS.

Samsung previously announced, they will launch a Tizen based smartphone in the first quarter of 2013, but that plan was dropped and instead Samsung is trying to release a Tizen based smartphone end of this year. There was no reason given why Samsung delayed one of their dream project.

If the latest reports are believed, Samsung Co-CEO JK Shin is the man behind the delay. Shin wanted to make a better smartphone.

Samsung was trying to build first Tizen based smartphone using Samsung Galaxy S III hardware, but that plan was scrapped.

Samsung is definitely working to make sure that Tizen will stand out of the crowd and provide best features in a mobile OS.
