Though Samsung released Galaxy J1 just 5 months back, it already thinking to release a newer version of the phone sooner than expected. There is no surprise in the name as it will be called Galaxy J2 and will carry a model number SM-J200F.
Similar to its predecessor, Galaxy J2 will have low-end specification and will be targeted towards budget audience.
Galaxy J2 Specs
Samsung Galaxy J2 will feature a 4.5 inch screen with 800 X 480 resolution. Along with that it will have a 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera, 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage with support of microSD card. Th ephone will carry a 2000 mAh battery and will be powered by a 32-bit Exynos 3475 SoC, featuring a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU.
It is expected that Samsung Galaxy J2 will be released with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop at the time of release.
This is a significant upgrade over Galaxy J1 with features 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. Also the battery on Galaxy J2 will be bigger than Galaxy J1.
Galaxy J2 will be released in India first, similar to Galaxy J1 and later other developing market will follow.
Samsung Galaxy J2 will have similar price as the current Galaxy J1.
