The Note 7 is around the corner but strangely we are seeing rumors about the Galaxy S8 that is due for a release next year in the month of march. The next big thing in the smartphone world is the dual camera setup in the flagships. Apple reportedly has gone a step further and is preparing a “PRO” version of the iPhone that brings the cutting edge camera tech to the smartphone world. The dual camera is very similar to the professional photography equipment and would be very useful to the persons in the photography business and desire portability.
Well, LG has done it in the G5 and Huawei has its P9 smartphone with a similar setup. Now Samsung wants in. it already has the world’s best smartphone camera in the form of the S7 edge and it is pushing the boundaries even further with its in-house dual camera technology.
Another curious piece of tidbit is that the phone is also speculated to have a 4k screen with a resolution of 3840×2160. That’s crazy considered that the current crop of 2k screen is considered to be an overkill by tech experts yet Samsung has its own reasons and they are perfect.
First of all, having a 4k screen puts the phone a notch above the other flagships and will help in selling more number of units. The second is that Samsung is heavily focusing on virtual reality and a 4k screen so near a naked eye could end up displaying superb visuals that the 1080p and even the 2k screen could only dream off.
These features could very well end up bringing in advantages for the flagship handset when coupled with a beautiful body and top notch specs such as snapdragon 830 and 6GB of RAM.
