Samsung is streamlining their effort to update most of their devices to latest Android variant. But it looks like Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 owners will be bit disappointed to know that most probably there will be no Jelly Bean update for their devices.
GSM Arena quotes Samsung Mobile Spain’s tweet to a user claiming the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update won’t reach the phone to ensure “best user experience”. The reason given by Samsung is surprising to say the least because we’ve seen phones like Galaxy Pocket Neo that possess similar hardware to the Galaxy mini 2 run Jelly Bean out of the box.

We posted earlier that there is a new Galaxy S4 version coming soon with Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 800 chipset. This is now almost confirmed from leaked user manual of the superphone which will support LTE Advanced with carrier aggregation, maximum 150 Mbps data rate and many other advanced technical specifications. Apart from that it has support of USB 3.0 and newest generation mobile Wi-Fi connectivity, 802.11ac.
Galaxy S4 LTE-A will feature a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, microSD card slot and lots more.
Earlier this week we wrote about Samsung’s intention to release a android powered mirrorless camera. Today we got hold of some official photos of Samsung’s New offering.
Samsung Galaxy NX is a fully featured mirrorless camera with Android at it’s heart. Equipped with a 20.3 megapixel sensor and 4.3 inch high definition display, there is no doubt that this will challenge other cameras in the market.
The camera is bigger than Samsung NX300 and going to be announced at the June 20 Samsung event.
Samsung announced Galaxy S4 Zoom yesterday and there is already a video review/preview of the not so usual smartphone from Samsung. PhoneArena posted a hands on video of Samsung’s super zoom smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom does not look like a smartphone at all from it’s apperance, rather it looks like a digital camera with phone functionality. The phone comes with the same specifications as the Galaxy S4 mini. It has the same 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 pixel, Super AMOLED screen as the S4 Mini, plus an unspecified 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, GPS, NFC and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy S4 Zoom also has 3G and 4G LTE connectivity, along with a 2330mAh battery, which will probably be needed if the phone is to make it through a tough day snapping pictures.
The camera specific specs include a xenon flash, HDR, optical image stabilization, ISO 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 settings. The supported aperture length on Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom are f/3.1 to f/6.3. On video recording the camera can 1080p video in high-definition, and comes with Samsung’s Smart Mode, which offers various scene settings, plus it will suggest the best option if you’re not sure.

Samsung Galaxy S5 (V) is the next flagship smartphone from the best Android phone makers in the world and if rumors are believed it will feature an aluminium body instead of plastic. This change is due to Samsung’s ‘Design 3.0′ strategy.
Apart from Aluminium body Samsung Galaxy S5 will innovate more on finger print detection technology. Lately Samsung tried to add many features on display and processor areas. So finger print detection will definitely add much more security to Samsung Galaxy S 5.
There is no official announcement about the possibility of Samsung Galaxy S5 and its launch date. Since Samsung had replaced Galaxy S3 with S4, people are expecting a Galaxy S5 too. And, it’s not going to happen until the first half of 2014, some reputed technology sites report.
Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update for Galaxy S3 and Note 2 users is delayed because of some last-minute TouchWiz bugs and Samsung will now take some time to test before releasing the latest updates. There is no confirmation about when the next update is scheduled.
Our only guess is that as this is not a connectivity issue and just a user interface problem, Samsung should provide a quick solution. Hope the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update of your Galaxy S3 and Note 2 will be released quite soon and you do not have to wait more.
