Samsung is going to hold its Galaxy Premier event at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden today. But before the event some more details of Galaxy Tab S are leaked by evleaks.
Samsung is going to have two version of Galaxy Tab S. One with 10.5 inch screen size and other with 8.4 inch screen. Both will come with different processor variants as well. Of course there will be LTE and only WiFi options.
Samsung will offer Exynos octa-core (4 x 1.9GHz and 4 x 1.3GHz) or a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon (most likely an 801). Other features include 2560 x 1600 AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, microSD for up to an additional 128GB of storage, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera, WiFi or WiFi/LTE, and Android 4.4 KitKat. The 10.5-inch version will sport a 7900mAh battery, and the 8.4-incher have 4900mAh.
Software fronts there won’t be many changes. Samsung will definitely keep the TouchWiz with the Magazine UX interface.
Also there are leaks that Samsung will make these tabs even thinner than iPad Air. Both of the Tabs will be 6.6 inch thin. In comparison iPad Air is 7.5 mm thick.
