Now, Verizon put those remaining Galaxy Note 7 units in a special category. The carrier will automatically reroute all outgoing calls (except 911) to its customer service representative. They will then urge them to return the device. Also, they announced that they will possibly bill the holdouts for the full retail cost of the Galaxy Note 7.
“In spite of our best efforts, there are still customers using the recalled phones who have not returned or exchanged their Note 7 to the point of purchase. The recalled Note 7s pose a safety risk to our customers and those around them”. Said a spokeswoman for an interview for Fortune.
On 23rd of January, Samsung will make the results of the Galaxy Note 7 investigation public. It will be interesting!
