Following a report from the industry sources from Friday, Samsung are probably working on two Galaxy S9 models. It also suggests that the company is working on the development of the 2018 flagship devices. The devices have also their own firmware versions, with the model numbers G960FXXU0AQI5 and G965FXXU0AQI5, which can also mean that they will be the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus (or S9 Edge).
With the Galaxy S8 lineup devices being released in middle of April this year, we can guess that the Galaxy S9 might come at the same time next year. Recent rumors also suggest that the devices might even come earlier than thought, and hit the markets somewhere at the late days of January. Also, Samsung are having great time with the Galaxy Note 8, which is currently enjoying its fame.
The Galaxy S9 flagship devices are rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 and Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 SoC, which will depend on the region. In addition, there will be 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage at a minimum. The design of the device might be something brand-new from Samsung, or it might have most similar design like the Galaxy Note 8.
