With this tablet Samsung has hit the balance of size and portability. It is substantially bigger than even the biggest phones on the market, giving you plenty of screen to work on. Despite of its size, it is pretty thin and light so you can use it with one hand. It is built in a strong and simple metal body, and on the bottom, you also get a fingerprint sensor.
On the inside of the metal body is a very capable OctaCore processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. Storage wise, it has 32GB with the option for expansion with microSD card. On the front you get a beautiful 2048×1536 Super AMOLED display with slightly unconventional 4:3 aspect ratio. It is still wide enough to use in portrait mode, while giving you room for side-by-side multi-window apps in landscape. All of this is powered from a 4000 mAh battery which is the only trade-off. To keep everything in harmony is responsible Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It is a year-old tablet at this point, but so far Samsung hasn’t made anything better. Plus, the Tab S2 8.0 is still a very capable tablet and if you find it on a discount it is a bargain you can’t refuse!
