Galaxy S7 Reveals Itself in A Video

The Galaxy S7, the next super phone from Samsung gave a glimpse of itself in a leaked video which showed the 3d render of the body that the manufacture analyses for physical production of the device.

In what appears to be a leak, the 3d render video showed a smartphone that is very similar to the Galaxy S6. It could be clearly mistaken for the phone from previous generation if not for the slight increase in the thickness. This is due to the inclusion of a bigger battery on the Galaxy S7.

Samsung is planning to add massive battery in both the siblings that measure at 3000+ Mah. Earlier leaks have indicated Samsung is including a retina scanner that will unlock the phone by scanning your eye and is virtually impossible to bypass enhancing the security by leaps.

One thing I noticed is that the 3d render showed a micro-USB port instead of the USB type c. Samsung has made a wise decision considering the fact that the USB-C standard is still to take off and including it so early would not bring any actual benefit to the consumer.

Apart from the top of the line spec list, the Galaxy S7 will have 3 variants. The 5.1-inch flat screen version. The S7 edge will have a 5.5-inch edge screen and the newest member of the family is the 6.0-inch premium version that will have a flat and curved screen option. The display on the 6-inch version is claimed to be the 4k resolution one, the highest in any mobile screen.

The phone is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona in February and will be available to the general public in the month of march.

Expect a reduction in the price from 10 to 20% for the base model Galaxy S7 when compared to the launch price of Galaxy S6.
