According to one Indian retailer Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is going to launch in India soon. The phone will cost Rs. 21,499 at the time of release.

Samsung recently announced the successor of its popular mid-range phablet Galaxy Mega, which was released last year.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 Specification

Samsung provided a much needed specification boost with this new phone. Galaxy Mega 2 will carry a 6-inch display with 720p screen resolution. Other features include a quad-core Exynos 4415 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The phone will come with 16GB memory with support for microSD card. It will have a 8 megapixel rear camera and 2.1 megapixel front camera.

There won’t be any SPen for this phablet as Galaxy Note 4.

Though the international variant of Galaxy Mega 2 supports 4G LTE, it seems like the Indian version will only have 3G and HSDPA.

On software front the phablet will come with Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz. Other Samsung apps will also be included in the software.
