After the Early Access registrations that were opened in India a couple of weeks earlier, the Samsung Pay services now officially becomes available in the markets of the country. The company has also listed the banks that will support this service. These include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paytm, UPI, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI and Standard Chartered. Also, what is new is that the service is now supported by the governments Unified Payment Interface, which can be accessed from the app itself.
The service is still in its beta version though, but the company claims that only a couple of weeks will be needed for a final release. Users of the service can also create their own user ID for making financial transactions. The platform is also available for some of the Samsung devices. these are the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Note 5, S6 Edge+, A5 (2016), A7 (2016), A5 (2017) and A7 (2017). It is also expected that in near future, this service might become available for the Gear S3 smartwatches.
The Samsung Pay, with the same release in India, becomes available in other several countries. For example, it becomes available in South Korea, the US, China, Spain, Singapore, Australia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Russia, Thailand and Malaysia. The service itself also brings some discounts for different orders or outlets for example.
